Located in Kowloon, it is easy to reach the 12,500 capacity seater venue by taking the MTR to Hung Hom Station. The type of events staged at Hong Kong Coliseum could be anything from an ice skating performance to a beauty pageant, classic music recital to the latest Mando-pop group, although it is most popular for sporting events and live pop music concerts. Stand out annual events include the FIVB indoor volleyball tournament, Disney on Ice, the Hong Kong Film Awards and Miss Hong Kong beauty pageant. Thanks to the central stage area and 360-degree seating, it is possible to get a good view in every area of the stadium and there has been a big investment in state-of-the-art sound and lighting at Hong Kong Coliseum. There are plenty of concessions kiosks beneath the stands which serve a variety of food and drinks, as well as function rooms and VIP lounges.
