Mandarin Grill + Bar

Long renowned as Hong Kong’s favourite dining room, The Grill serves an exciting adaptation of grill specialties with a dash of progressive gastronomy from the talented Executive Chef Uwe Opocensky.

High-quality ingredients and seasonally inspired dishes remain the backbone of the Grill, while the ingenious touch of a team of talented chefs adds an unexpected flair.

The room itself benefits from natural daylight and spacious seating making it ideal for important tête-à-têtes. Indeed, legend has it that some of Hong Kong’s boldest business deals have been concluded in this very room.

Pierre

Dining at Michelin-starred Pierre is a singular pleasure. The drama begins the moment you enter: with impressive windows framing breathtaking views of the harbour.

Pierre Gagnaire is a wizard of innovative French gastronomy and one of the most original and artistic chefs in the world today. His astonishingly intricate and elaborate dishes are often described as ‘modern French’ while his style remains firmly based in the French cooking tradition, resulting in dishes that are exquisitely presented and utterly original.

Pierre restaurant saw the world-wide introduction of a new style of cooking called ‘note a note’, created by Pierre Gagnaire with chemist Herve This. Made entirely of pure compounds, this ‘note a note’ cooking heralds a new revolution in gastronomy.

Pierre is a must for every epicure.

Man Wah

Man Wah is Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong’s signature Cantonese restaurant and often referred to as Hong Kong’s most beautiful dining space.

In addition to the ambience of imperial splendour, the panoramic views of Victoria harbour and the cityscape are not to be missed.

Chef Joseph Tse’s master skills are demonstrated in the menu that includes local favourite dishes alongside seasonal specialties presented with modern flair. The service is impeccable and staff pride themselves on maintaining the traditions.

Café Causette

Café Causette offers informal contemporary all-day dining; the show-kitchen is a hive of activity framed in traditional Chinese red lacquer.

The menu offers something for everyone, from light and healthy dishes, to Asian, Western or the indulgent afternoon tea. Signature dishes include Nasi Goreng, Hainan Chicken Rice, and Thai Red Duck Curry, while the pizzas are also famed among locals as the best in town.

The Krug Room

Situated in the very heart of the kitchens, the Krug Room is a restaurant like no other ...

The vibrancy of a full working kitchen is something that few are able to experience, yet in the Krug Room, diners become central to and part of the unfolding drama as they enjoy a front-row seat for the creation and preparation taking place.

An actor cannot perform without an audience and likewise a chef needs an audience to inspire him. Chef Uwe Opocensky is driven by a passion for creativity while remaining sympathetic to the ingredients and their flavours. Starting with the fundamentals of molecular gastronomy, he creates dishes that are thought provoking and evince an almost whimsical approach to cooking.

The restaurant seats up to 12 guests around a communal table who share the memorable occasion. There is no menu; Chef creates each evening’s dinner according to his inspiration. To accompany the meal, The Krug Room boasts the largest collection of Krug champagnes outside of France.

Clipper Lounge

A long-established rendezvous point for both social and business meetings in Hong Kong, The Clipper Lounge needs no introduction.

Both a relaxing haven and favourite meeting place throughout the day, this institution is fondly referred to as “Hong Kong’s sitting room”. The Chinnery also enjoys renown for its selection of rare single-malt whiskies, which at over 120 and counting, comprises one of the most extensive collections in the region.
